This classically trained Boston singer-songwriter is doing just fine,
having escaped the major-label shark pool: She makes tuneful alt-rock
with a ponderous side, and her third album is just odd enough to get
by, as Bonham sets meandering Aimee Mann-like melodies over bright electro-pop,
string-laden folk and synth-y atmospherics.
