HI EVERYONE! We are so very lucky, here in the Catskills (Woodstock, NY), to have a few really great places to play music. One of them is Levon Helm’s Studios. Levon Helm was the famous drummer and singer for The Band. He turned his barn into a recording studio and then turned it into a live venue as well. This is where he hosted the famous Midnight Ramble Sessions.

I have been asked to perform at Levon Helm’s Studios to benefit the Friends Of The Woodstock Library, in celebration of the twentieth anniversary of my debut album The Burdens Of Being Upright. Along with Kevin Salem, John Wlaysewski, and Joe Magistro, we will look at these songs from a different perspective as they weave into and evening of old and new songs from my repertoire. The evening will be recorded and possibly released as a live album in the near future.

I hope to see you there. Even if you do not live in the Catskills, this is the kind of venue that people travel great distances to experience – as Levon’s spirit definitely resides there. I hope that the twentieth anniversary celebration would entice you to travel to Woodstock as well. It will be a special evening, I promise.

Friends and fans are what make things happen nowadays, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Love, Tracy
